Mangrove View Deck, Sugba Lagoon, Kawhagan, Pamomoan Beach Itinerary – Earlier in the year 2020 pre-pandemic, was our second visit to Siargao. During our stay on the island for less than a week aside from surfing, we’ve explored the island by renting a motorbike to help us get around, we’ve booked an island hopping tour in General Luna, and we went north to Del Carmen to avail the complete Mangrove View Deck, Sugba Lagoon, Kawhagan, Pamomoan Beach tour with fellow travel friends we’ve made in the trip. See our detailed trip below!

Note: This post is maybe long overdue to be posted, but all information here has been drafted a week after our travel.
Start of Tour: Mangrove View Deck, Sugba Lagoon, Kawhagan, and Pamomoan Beach
Mangrove View Deck
There’s not much to do here aside from picture taking and appreciating the 360-view of around 5,000 lush green mangrove forests at top of the view tower. Here you’ll be able to witness the result of how locals take care of their nature and make it their livelihood.
Sugba Lagoon
If you’ve been to Siargao and you did not experience surfing in General Luna or jumping off the famous dive board of Sugba Lagoon, then you’ve missed the fun on the island. Swim and snorkel in the emerald green waters of the lagoon, rent a kayak or a paddleboard and have your lunch here by asking friendly locals to serve them for you.
Kawhagan Island
Kawhagan Island is beautiful, serene, and there are only a few people when arrived on the island. We sat down under the palm trees for a while, taking a couple of pictures, and just appreciating the beauty of the island, listening to the sound of the waves as the wind blows the palm trees.
In Kawhagan Island or Sandbar, you are free to swim around, snorkel or purchase fresh coconut or a beer to make your stay on the island worthwhile.
Pamomoan Beach
Our tour began at Mangrove View Deck, Sugba Lagoon, next is Kawhagan and the last destination is Pamomoan beach. Here it’s more developed compared to the rest of the islands. There are huts and cottages where you can relax and they have a restaurant where you can have your lunch. You can also do snorkeling, swimming, sunbathing, or lay down on the beach as you looked over toward Kawhagan Island before going back to Del Carmen Tourist Center.
